Jowanty Poem by joshua madiba

Jowanty

I was among them.
When we sang the song.
He was leading us,
When we sang the song;
but their ears weren't willing to hear,
With their hands crossed at the back.
When we sang the song.
They moved with their chauffeurs,
At the parlour.
Lavished alot and took bevvy like milk;
but he was their so that we could sing the song.
And they did not hear.
Now that he is gone.
Youth don't make it to twenty.
And nobody makes us to sing the song
I was there, I saw him
Sing the song
