Joy Poem by Dlorese Lovison

Joy

Rating: 4.5

The Lord Jehovah is my strength,
my song and my salvation,

I'll tell this to my friends at home,
I'll tell it to the nation.

Although one day his hand reached down,
and washed away the mire,

Now he has done so much for me,
he lifts me ever higher.

With Jesus, God's love gift to me
and by his wondrous grace,

I've been lifted up to sit
with him in heavens place.

Cast your cares upon him,
this is the word you know.

His peace he'll give, love and joy,
your heart to over flow,
