The Rain Poem by Dlorese Lovison

The Rain

The clouds are forming the rain is coming,
it's now beginning to fall.

To water the earth, grass, flowers and seeds,
the trees, the birds and all.

The earth turns soft, the leaves turn green,
small streams rush quickly by,

Carrying pebbles, sticks, sand, and such,
to watch, what a sight, O'my!

Yesterday this earth was dry,
and wind swept as could be,

Thanks be to God that sends the rain,
to earth, and even me.
