Joy In The Morning Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Joy In The Morning

Your hello,
The gift!
Your smile,
The satin bow!
Your kiss,
The sparkle and glitter
That wraps around
Our love!
Your voice,
Singing a made up melody
Sung just for me with words,
Adoring.
This early morning, in between
The sunbeams floating through
The open window of our love.
Oh yes! A blessing sure!
