Joy, When It Becomes Stagnant Poem by james watkin

Joy, When It Becomes Stagnant

To bathe in it, and be renewed
Of Joy o'er and o'er
By as many sites again
For its sources new
Correlates with its effectualness.
Know this through an instinctualness
Follow the sun who.

Better that we, further upstream
Or foreshore along
Year's time of rest, following this
Summer's sped as keen
Be heard, camped by, splashing about.
If what then higher still in its shout
Thrill-pitched will have been.
