Judith Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Judith

The bracelets on your wrists weighs ten shekels,
But you are so beautiful and so sweet;
And if i may ask, whose daughter are you?
Tell me and i will marry you,
Please do not stand alone in the cold.

Why do you stand outside in the rain?
Come into the very house of mine and do warm yourself;
For Judith is your name and,
I have all that it takes to love you.
