Jump In Poem by Saul Palti

Jump In

You set the road on fire
when the gas is put down
and all the traffic becomes wire
oh how the passenger is a clown

your freckles that are well hidden
are under the dashboard
well and truly smitten
are the lovers on the passing board

I think what a well deserved break
the pole comes to an end
as the frog jumps out of the lake
he says I only want to be a friend

run him over the tracks
and watch his guts evaporate
for frog legs make nice snacks
and his soul will arrive late

all this trouble is delayed
upon a sea that is fruitful
over priced and played
iv never been so deceitful
