Junkhead Antidote Poem by Derek Fitzpatrick

Junkhead Antidote

Rogues & Pharaoh
Interlope & toast.
Drinking to living dead Deity
Everlasting, loving, luscious hope..

Divide, Separate.
Body, Conscience, Mind, & Soul.
Through the Lobby
Beneath the Basement
Waltzing in the Corridor of holes.
Ghosts, dance with various Enumbre
& flirt death unto parasitic hosts.

To the Attic's Gallows..
Gaze beyond,
Never follow.
Nor wallow,
In oblivion's coast.

Imagine..
Above your wildest dream,
Were past the perimeter,
Nevermore reality,
We all bleed
In parasitic belief.

Pour kerosene,
On all your belongings
Light them ablaze,
Above your grave,
Nevermore a slave.
Never again,
Will Freedom burn so bright.

Shake dust from your wings,
Dig deep for lost treasures
& bury the Kings.
New beginnings..

Leprosy leap
Into loves echo'd Sea's
Taste the cool breeze of
Greed, Jealousy, Envy
Methodically melted into
Memphis Melodies..
I won't be found here,
There's no rush to me,
A perfect orchestra
Doesn't fulfill my harmony.
I prefer a Bullet Symphony.

Lust for infectious poisons,
Slowly murder me.
Sweet, sorrowful untimely death,
I dance with thee
& chase thy last caress.
This is my way.
Any other..
I'd feel better dead.
A broken puzzle piece
I shall rest.

Oh baby.. keep me afloat,
My invisible antidote.
