Just A Girl Poem by Kelly Batson

Just A Girl

Rating: 5.0

Maybe I am a little bit blind,
But I’m just a girl who tries.
Maybe I’m just a little reckless,
Guilty of my crimes,
And unable to hide them.
I don’t know why I do this,
I can’t learn the reasons.
Maybe I’m unsatisfied,
Or maybe I’m confused.
Go ahead and ask me again,
Cause’ I don’t know why,
I do the things I do.
Maybe I’m a little lost,
And maybe a little psyched.
Cause’ I can’t stop,
No matter how hard I try.
These days keep passing by,
Right here, in front of me.
And I must confess,
I’m thinking it’s a little worthless.
I try to forget the past that I did,
But I can’t figure out how to forgive.
I’m trying to notice that fact that I need,
But I’m just a simple girl,
Who may too often shelf her head,
And forever uses her heart.
