Just A Light On A Pole Poem by james watkin

Just A Light On A Pole

Through the dark of its reaching out
More dear for its cool reserve
Across Time has it stood.
This over a campsite washroom
Ignites insects' frenzies, absorbed
Of a sunburnt childhood.
