Just A 'Profile' Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

At this moment you are just a ‘Profile',
A ‘Profile' on this Site,
Will you become a ‘Reality'
And become my friend tonight?

I have sent many Messages
To Ladies who live far and near,
But will you be the one who answers
And brings to my Life ‘Good Cheer'?

What words do I need to delight you?
How can I further our plight?
To bring this Friendship to a Reality
Not just now ~ but every night?

Dare I hope this will lead to a Meeting?
Dare I wish all will be Alright?
When we meet will our date progress
Forward from Daylight to Night?

I live in hope that you will like me,
That I shall also like you,
Find Common Interest to chat about
As together we explore pastures new.

But to start this venture together,
We must both wish to meet,
So pick up the phone and start dialling,
Lest the grass do grow under our feet.
