Just Another Day Poem by Brian Stafford

Just Another Day

A mist covered lake,
With a calm sunrise,
The early bird awakes,
To daylights reprise;

A shimmering sun,
In a clear blue sky,
The sound of a gun,
Caution in nature's eye;

With a cooling breeze,
Comes a thousand ripples,
With shivering trees,
Waves lapping on pebbles;

Birds begin their evening call,
As does night time start to fall.
