Just Cannot Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Just Cannot

Just cannot

In me lives a poem,
Soft, sweet, in Persian:
The poet takes an oath
To stop drinking alcohol
Which has turned addiction.

Poet says: "Won't drink! "

Then puts an exception:
"Just tonight, tomorrow
And most of other nights! "

I am same and cannot
Put aside the poems;
Hunts me this addiction;
So, cannot; just cannot.

Read poem of Carib
About Sea and Ocean…

Leap in time
And in air, and sky;
Finally, find Nima…

Caspian shows its waves
With Sunset on surface
A Carpet, soft, velvet
And floats the swan
Into a loneliness for its death…

In other, a woman finds mirror
Discovers she knows not
The person…she, herself…

I love to, it seems like,
Be preyed by poems…

I am bird and in air
Feel bullet in the side;
Go away wing, feathers,
Where are the greyhounds?
