That I wrote just for you
I can think of many words
To describe you
For starters here are a few
Kind, gentle, thoughtful and funny
For every person that God sends
To enter into our lives
It doesn't matter how
It's always for a reason
Even for only a season
For only a little while
To make us smile
A moment of happiness
What a gift
That gives our spirits
A lift
You will truly be missed
I know that you are
In heaven smiling
One of God's brightest
Stars shining
I wish there was more
That I could do
To show how much
That I care
For now I will keep
