Just Look! Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Just look at the tapestry on my wall
you'll love the sheep; you'll love the cow,
a rippling stream flowing under the bridge
and the farmer, happy with his plough.

Just look at the swan upon the lake
the horse and carriage for country folk
a pair of white doves on top of the tree
and a pathway on the mountain slope.

Just look at the roses' golden sheen
wind-blown leaves across the green,
much closer to heaven you will be
whilst gazing at this tranquil scene.

Come and feel the the thrill of it all...
admire the tapestry on my wall.
