Just Right Here Waiting Poem by C.B. Carlos

Here I stand looking through my windowpane
As the world's being washed by the drops of rain
It was like the love I feel for you
The endless travel I've been through
Ive been to many places but still,
I haven't found you.

Love of my life, where have you been?
Why do you keep me waiting?

I'm walking in the sunshine
Watching lovers as they passed by
But I'm still holding on, holding back fears
Because I know, somewhere out there
He's making his move, he's striving hard
and waiting, for the right time.

Waiting is the very hardest part
But there's a voice inside of me
Telling it's the best thing to do
So I will be right here,
Just right here
Waiting for you

I believe that there's someone out there
Waiting for the right time too
He'll be with me, I'll be with him
We'll create a happy ending!

Waiting is the very hardest part
Especially If there's no one to wait from the start
But I believe, Oh I believe
We will meet in the future
Wait for me, I'll wait too
And we'll share a love so pure

Love of my life where have you been?
I will be just right here
Just right here waiting.

(The first two lines were the line made by a friend of mine during high school, we were 15 at that time, and it was last June 6,2010 that I made this poem,3 years after we graduated. I like to share this to you especially for those young people like me out there. I know I used simple words to make this poem but it was what my heart speaks at that moment...and up to now. Let me just encourage young people out there-I hope there are haha-to wait patiently. I know it's hard, but we have to trust God with the pen of our love stories. Believe that there is someone out there, waiting for the right timing too. Isn't that sweet that you two waited and obeyed? : ])
