If, in my lonesome moment
When all I can do is to lament
Will you be there?

If, in my deep distress
And all I want is your caress
Will you be there?

When in my pain and sorrow
If I don’t want to see tomorrow
Will you be there to show me a rainbow?

Will you be there if I need you?
Will you be there when I when I want to run to you?
Would you tell me that I am worth loving?
That I am not alone?

If, I found joy in this life
And you helped me to the light
If, I want to spend eternity with someone
Will you be that one?
