Just Shake It Up A Little Poem by Bryan Taplits

Just Shake It Up A Little

When you don't know just what to do
When life sprouts grey or blue,
There is just one thing that is necessary-
For you (or me) to do:
Just 'shake it up a bit'
That's what this doc has ordered
For when you 'shake it up a bit'
No more is there disorder.
Life seems simple and unrestrained
No longer are you its slave,
Your horizons have been expanded
Now there is newness to your day.
Your outlook is now unconstrained
Tasks uncompleted are not a sin,
The duties that once awaited you
Are not done cause your undisciplined.
You've taken on this new edict
With a new order that is sweet-
New session,
All options have become to do it now
Or later-
At your discretion.
So if you forget or miss a chore
Don't have a fever
Or throw a hissy-fit,
Just remember this-
This scoop or tip-
And 'Shake it up a bit.'
