Just Start Poem by Patti Masterman

Just Start

Let the past go free-
A solitary candle's glow
Is enough for the light hearted.

Let the past go free-
A single days burden
All a man ought to have to carry.

Let the past go free-
If some evil breathes you in
Wait then for the out-breath.

Let the past go free-
A caged wild animal
Might devour you from the inside.

Let the past go free-
Just start.
