Just To Win Your Love Poem by Janis Land Raymer

Just To Win Your Love

16 years is a long time to love someone,
to care and want someone.
If I could...I would take you away
to a place for only you and me.
If I could only dropp a coin into a wishing well...
I'd make a wish that you'd be mine-
only mine.
We'd make a commitment only to each other.
Tell me how-
to hold onto you
to win your love.
You make me so happy...
yet you also hurt me deeply.
How do I let go?
How do I hang on?
show me a mountain,
I'll climb it.
Show me an ocean,
I'll swim it.
I'll do anything...
yes-anything...just to win your love.
