Just Too Afraid...
you were so afraid to stop
and take your rest
or sleep and so you continue
working, making your sleep busy
and take the walks and
sit on the bench along the boulevard
to be with the sea and watch the
fading of the sun, the glow that stopped
but before that the change of the colors
in that horizon.
you are just too afraid to know if you
got infected with covid.
