Just Trying Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Just Trying

Sunrise paints the window pane,
Another day, I'll try again.
Not for me, the selfish plea,
But for someone else to see.

A little kindness, softly sown,
A helping hand, a gentle tone.
My own strength, it starts to grow,
When I have something good to show.

No need to ask, no need to wait,
Just open up and share my fate.
This simple act, this giving heart,
Is where my solid grounding starts.
