Just Will See Poem by Antonija Norbutaite

Just Will See

"Do not show any prominence."
But what if I want it?
"Do not show any prominence."
But what if that's what I need?
"Do not show any prominence."
But what if that's my own way
To show all that I believe?

"Do not raise yourself up."
But now they don't see me.
"Do not raise yourself up."
But why can't I do?
"Do not raise yourself up."
But they don't understand me.
They just don't see I'm hurt too.

"Just be silent."
Or am I that loud now?
"Just be silent."
But I don't even shout.
"Just be silent."
All this time I was silent.
I won't be anymore.
I just can't.

I won't hide anymore.
I'll let them all see.
I won't suffer.
I'm tired of it.
I won't love.
If this love isn't true one.
I'll just see.
‘Cause that's what I believe.
