Letter Poem by Antonija Norbutaite

Letter

I'm writting you a letter
From dandellions and rye
I'm writting you a letter
To tell you, I love you.

The angry winds of winter
Broke my dreams in two
The letter that I wrote you
Will forever stay a clue.

They tried to ask me nicely
What did I write in there
They trapped me, asked me, begged me,
To never bring to you.

But letter with the seaguls
Are on the way to you
And I won't find my peace
Until it won't reach you.

The waves keep hitting seagulls
And breaking all my dreams
The letter that I wrote you
Will drown deep in the sea.
