Just You Poem by Natasha Edwards

Just You

He said it will brighten up later
But, later very rarely comes
Theres always a smile to greet you
Even in the morning
When he is still being mad

Strong and silent
Hands you can forever trust
Head of useless knowledge
Useful to someone, somewhere
I'm sure

Something needs fixing
Shelves to broken taps
Enough to know when to hold you
When to make you laugh
Enough to know that silence
Is often just enough

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Theres always a smile to greet you Even in the morning When he is still being mad Strong and silent delivered in its pristine purity fresh from the hearth
