As lonely as I have ever been
A kaleidoscope in which I live
In colors blue and grey
Wash upon my lifelong day
Others live such pretty lives
With stories to tell
And good times
My life is filled with regret
For the things I never did
I have my health
This much is true
I am not hungry
There is work to do
I pay my bills each and every month
What is my life really worth?
I travel on to a better day
I hope my words have something to say
I want to live beyond my years
To love myself
And escape my fears
A kaleidoscope is where I live
Lonely as I have ever been
