Kari Kari Repeated

I was born in mountains
-to parents whose cultures
-had varied and differed
-till recent times, ages…

Am hybrid of bloods
-as well as backgrounds
-so, feel and empathise
-with all of First Nations
-of the world, East to West!

Having lost my dad's side
-I, always, admire
-the ones who resisted
-fought back and avoided,
-to become the slave
-to mean wolf; occupier.

Have been in and have lived
-with North, South Americans.

Kari-Kari has been what
-I call: "Best example."

No one has proof that
-Andean has murdered
-but fear has been there
-and still cause shiver.

"They give you the respect,
-best of food, delicious,
-with drinks that kill you
-soon after you reach home."

Same is said of Sentinelese
-better known as "Andamans"
-defending their island
-as well as their culture
-from the invaders
-regardless of flags,
-and beliefs and anthems!
