Keeping Up A False Front
You know, its kind of funny
When you happen to see
Someone keeping up a false front
Someone being a phony
Sometimes it's to protect someone
Sometimes it's because we don't want to know
What we're really like
Who we really are
But the truth comes out in the end
And it causes nothing but pain
But we all seem to do it
Like we like the idea of it
