Kentucky Mom Poem by Randy McClave

Kentucky Mom

She cheers her son when he plays a sport
She naturally and proudly gives her support,
Whether he throws the winning pass or makes a shot
Kentucky fever she has got.

She paints her face both blue and white
And she always screams, fight, fight, fight,
Whenever she goes or watch any Kentucky game
And if they lose, it's always the refs to blame.

She was born and raised with Kentucky pride
Somewhere it is tattooed on her hide,
Maybe in the Bible there is a written psalm
"Always bless a Kentucky mom".
