Kevin Mcauliffe Roman Catholic Piest Steals 650k Poem by Luke Easter

Kevin Mcauliffe Roman Catholic Piest Steals 650k

In this day and age it is nothing for ministers to use drugs,
Neither is it unusual for inner-city priests to hang with thugs,
Then there is the number one tool of the evil one, illicit sex,
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas except clergy who bet.

If God wanted preachers to get rich playing hold-em, no joker,
Would not white collars be at the, “World Series of Poker? ”
I watch religiously to see the final table, Tuesday night ESPN,
No Monsignor, Bishop, Cardinal, Pastor, Elder or next of kin.

Over an eight year period from parish bank accounts he’d steal,
Well, lots of people embezzle corporate funds, what’s the deal?
The Eighth Commandment, one in his possession should know,
“Many will come in My name” not what you say, what you show.

His lawyer say’s, “he’s so remorseful” but what if $$$ he won?
Would anyone ever be aware of what Kevin had actually done?
Las Vegas or “Sin City” as it is sometimes affectionally known,
The house always wins the most that’s why casinos have grown.

You’ll get killed in the Indy 500 if at 220mph you’re not trained,
NHL Hockey Players sustain concussions and it is their game,
Hardened Veterans are killed in combat in Afghanistan & Iraq,
They don’t have the option of a second chance to come back.

A pal said Kevin’s very optimistic, met at a treatment program,
Should not this guy have spent more time with the great, I AM?
Obviously not so what about the average gambling Jane or Joe?
We can’t please God hedging our lives on win, place & show.
