Can the time you
teach me
Be the time i take
to learn

A lifetime to spend
trying to
Make this thing really
burn

All spread out like
an ocean
That's trying to find
the beach

Reaching for the stars
now
The earth
is out of reach

Tossed sometimes and
driven
Still stuck inside
conditions

Full of yesterdays
regrets
And all those bad
decisions

Playing
hard on all our senses
In
our so called open mind

Cant
see through our defenses
Cemented
cold n grey and blind

Funny
How them things of the
Fathers
Not to mention the mothers

Ill affects
All our
Sisters and
Brothers
