Killer Swan Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Killer Swan

A dog and a Swan

I remember a black swan in a hotel`s pond
it was a master of his domain or walk on the lawn
surrounding the lake.
A little yapping dog a spoilt thing how had caviar
for dinner, got to near, the sawn grabbed and
drowned it and lovely was the peace.
I should have interfered and try to rescue the cur,
but the swan made it clear not to step in, in a way
the bloody dog got what it deserved. And this ladies
and gentlemen were an alternative poem.
