Behind these innocent brown eyes
Lies something so dark
There was unlimited hurts, to be precise
The cuts and bruises symbolize her life, that's the mark
Self-mutilating is all that she could do
To remove the pain she has been through
She never intended more, not even someone to turn to
She was nothing more than a girl with no reason to live, nothing to do
Hurt, bruised and crushed
She was too tired to live
Then she remembered, to her brother she promised
She could only recall his voice and believe
That promise of stopping her self-mutilating
Made her unable to hold her blade
She started to control, and at the attempt, she was shivering
When she lost control, she was full of dread
She wanted to stop
For the scars reminded her of someone
To stop cutting was her only hope
That she will someday forget him, who was replaceable by none
