Kindle A Fire Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Kindle A Fire

Rating: 4.5

Pomegranates,
Wash your legs with clean water before you enter in;
And like the pure blood of the grape.

Demons! !
Abhorred;
I will always hide my face from you!
And like a lion in the bush of Africa.

It is just too deep for you to act!
So, take a rest on this journey;
And to kindle a fire nearby,
To prepare your food.

The muse of life!
Serve it with love and care;
For the peace of the land,
In unity than with the works of hatred and war.
