I woke up to the world
with the strength for greatness
something the world itself
has never felt or made;
I told myself I would walk on water,
like the shadow I will be untouchable
and unstoppable,
just before my spine could
hold my back
I saw people tried to be
like I wanted but they sank,
And never sailed again
so right from cradle
I was made to give tomorrow a chance
I never gave today
I always promise tomorrow
I will be a man like my dream,
But tomorrow never cease to amaze me,
It would never come
and I would never stop waiting,
in my quest waiting for tomorrow,
boys became men,
winter changed to summer
and to winter again
dry bone walked and got dried again,
memories came and faded away
But here I am still waiting
hoping tomorrow would be fair enough
to kick me in the face
and make my dreams come true.
