King Of The Jungle Poem by Teresa Reck

King Of The Jungle

The king of the jungle
hunts the land for food
waiting for his prey
silently he prowls
a tilt of his head
his mane so wild
demands proud respect
from all around

This heart of a lion
so big and strong
and a roar so loud
sharp teeth and claws
to hunt in the wild
he paces back and forth
nothing dares move
lion is hungry tonight
