King Of The Monsters Poem by Sophie Allyah

King Of The Monsters

He is the king of monsters
The destroyer of Japan
Defeating all the losers
I'm one of his biggest fan

The indestructible Godzilla
Is out for another round
O how I wish he's here in Manila
To crush this place to the ground

Standing 164 feet tall and growing
Now 350 feet and still smashing
Nobody knows where he's going
But he's all about trashing

Weighing 164,000 tons
Invincible to all powerful guns
Even King Kong the giant gorilla
Can't stop the mighty Godzilla

And nothing we can do
But to cheer this friend or foe
In times of terrible dilemma
we shout go! go! Godzilla!
