Taught to be friendly by his keepers
Always a playful he is
Making his way to showbiz
Now he's famous with lots of adventures
But comes the very sorrowful day
For King is forever gone away
A very sad day indeed
For what this cop did
Clueless and afraid he shot King to slay

Usually limericks are funny but I made this one sad.. About the lion, his name is King owned by Berberov family in Russia and yes, it's based on a true story but it doesn't end there with King being killed, for further stories about the Berberov family's tragic fate you can google it
