King's Speech Poem by Ketan Hukare

King's Speech

Citizen, I express my gratitude
Thank you all for coming here.
I, the king, want to share
Horror about an upcoming fear.

To start with, I let you know
That this new enemy is not like any old.
He has fought and won many.
He is courageous and he is bold.

He started with a lot of anger
A lot of ice in his veins.
He is coming towards us like a devil
With thousands of his marching men

They are more and might be strong.
They are soldiers with no heart
But a thirst of blood
Though I don't appreciate their act.

Be ready my men! We have to live!
Get your arms, prepare to fight!
Fight for your love and your child.
Fight for next day's morning light!

Remember my men, don't ever step back
For the lion inside you must never die!
Control yourself, control your heart,
For the man in you must never cry!

Tomorrow starts the war
The battles begins tomorrow
Tomorrow starts our victory campaign
Tomorrow starts their their sorrow!

Collect all the anger from the past
And spend it on the battle ground.
I want to hear their sorrowful cry
I want to hear our victory sound!

So come along to defend our land
Which has given us river and rice.
Protect your heart and come on!
Protect my word and honor your life.
