Spellbound Poem by Ketan Hukare

Spellbound

Rating: 5.0

My eyes and limbs were tightly tied
I was lying in a dark place.
I tried a thousand times to be free
To uncover my hidden face.

A hundred times did I shout for help
But nobody turned out.
Nobody even tried to help
Although they all heard my shout.

And alone I lay there, helpless!
Negative thoughts entered my mind.
Everyone enjoyed their feast
And I lay still there behind.

I was habitual of the noisy footsteps
Some kicked, some just passed by.
just like any other footsteps' noise I heard,
I felt someone was near by.

Just then my limbs felt loose
And I could open my eyes
It was you who came like an albatross
So good, so wise!

You came along and waved your hand.
You tossed my jinx and brightened this place.
You stood before me and smiled
That smile brightened my face.

You are like a north star
You show me the way.
You taught me to live and give,
You taught me not to give away.

You looked at me,
You saw my suffering,
You waved your hand,
And you changed everything!

You waved your hand around
You raised me off the ground
You are too magical indeed
You left me spellbound!

If you let the girl you fall for read this, she will fall for you then- I'm very sure!
