Kiss Of The Burkhawalli, A Burqua-Clad Maiden Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Kiss Of The Burkhawalli, A Burqua-Clad Maiden

Kiss,
Kiss of the burkh-clad miss,
I still remember it,
How did she come to
And asked to impress a sweet kiss
On the cheeks of hers?

When I saw her, it seemed to me
Saw I the fair and full moon
Under the patches of dark clouds
When saw I her, I could not check my emotions.
