Kissed Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Kissed

Her poem made me realize this
What is the world without a kiss?
I think it's kisses I most miss
Those frozen moments in time
The exceptional feeling of bliss
Sharing you can't dismiss
But alas, I'm remiss
Something must have gone amiss
It's harder and harder to exist
Without affection or tenderness
As the sun burns off the morning mist
In daydreams I think more often of this
I imagine the softness of being kissed
