Kneading Dough Poem by edward lilley

Kneading Dough

Life is good
And we hold on

Keep on dancing
Move through fear

Reach across miles
And read aloud

We gather nuts
And laugh when we can

Make soup often
Cry when we dare

Plant new dreams
and whisper prayers

Wade through puddles
Hope and remember

Hold on tight
Love with all our might

Eat our vegetables
Share bread
And stay loose enough to leap on proper occasions

Life is good
And we hold on

Thanks for your reminder to 'reminder to remain loose enough to leap on proper occasions. The English teacher in me also says thank you for spelling occasion correctly. I am anticipating the arrival of distant relatives and shall (I KNOW) enjoy the visit, (and, likewise, the relatives) because of your advise. Thanks!
