Knell, Ell! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Knell, Ell!

Rating: 4.5

Knell, ell!
Bell,
To tell the truth;
Well of wisdom!
Sell what is right;
Not to live the cell of sin,
But to live with the shell of moral laws!
To dwell in peace with your neighbours,
Not with the spell of hatred and war.
Knell, ell!
He fell in love,
She fell in love,
To tell the truth! !
To overcome the sins of hell;
Well with wisdom!
To dwell in the hands of the truth.
The bell!
The sound of the bell;
The sound of the truth,
To tell the truth,
To dwell in peace with your neighbours,
Without hurting anyone.
