Knocked Down Poem by Jessie Jett

Knocked Down

I've been knocked down,
and thrown around.
It was you that turned my smile into a frown!
It was you who put me in that dark place!
You might have well just spit in my face.
You left me alone,
while I was still in the zone.
Trying to like you.
Trying to love you.
Trying to seek you.
But not anymore.
I've been knocked down
and thrown around.
You left me alone like a piece of trash,
but first you treated me like cash.
You said I was your only!
You said I was special,
you said we'd never say goodbye.
That was a lie.
Your like a dog,
running away from his master.
What you don't know is now,
I'm running faster.
