Knowing No Age Poem by Ray Hansell

Knowing No Age

Rating: 5.0

She came and took him by the hand
Led him to the promised land

She taught him all about love
Underneath the stars above

She was such a gentle soul
He was young, to others, she was old

But he never once complained
But his parents almost went insane

They yelled at him, "but she's too old"
But over his life they lost control

He told his parents, "I'm in love"
They said, you don't know what you speak of

They told him you're just a child
It's your hormones running wild

He said to them, that's not true
I love her, she loves ne to

He knows his parents will never believe
That happiness together they can achieve
