Knowledge Versus Wisdom Poem by Raymond Farrell

Knowledge Versus Wisdom

Knowledge
Is a rooster
Who struts
Around the barn yard
Then sits
On a pile of manure
And commences crowing
About how much
He knows
While wisdom
Calmly quietly
And humbly
As a barn owl
Sits on his roost
Silently contemplating
How much
He has yet to learn.
