Lady Day Has Died Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Lady Day Has Died

Rating: 5.0

Buried with heaps of junk
With the stench of respectability
Not even, yr gardenias can cover it
But yr voice is never forgotten
And the kiss of smack in between
Heaven or hell will ghost you
Us, fans, will carry you to new heights
But it's too late.... You're gone
