Laid Still: A Lollipop. Poem by Kyle Shield Laster

Laid Still: A Lollipop.

Walk, she did, slow down the road-
Playing with long hair,
Sucking on a flavored stick:
Dimpling when deemed fare.

Teased she did her mother dear
As mother waved to stop.
Metal painted green grass red.
Laid still: a lollipop.
