Everywhere's dark, no trace of light
But what's that gleaming at the sight
It's the lantern of life
It's bright like the sun
Yet pale like the moon
Sometimes a bane
Yet its a boon

It's nothing yet its everything
Hope and faith-thats what it brings
it shows our soul which way to go, what to do

It's rage's like sunlight
giving courage too!
In dark when our path we grope
It's calm like the moonlight
giving peace and hope

it always glowa-like starlight
The light that never fades
It says I'm always here
Your tears- you need not shade

So even when your life seems black
With only darkness in your sight
You're mistraken- light is there
So.its never too late- just make life bright
